BAM Microfinance Bank PLC - Your Empowerment Partner

Bam Microfinance Bank Plc is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Insured by the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) to operate as Microfinance Bank with focus on financial inclusion rate, improvement in access to financial services for the active rural poor and to pursue poverty eradication among others in the country.

The Bank was commissioned by His Excellency, the executive Governor of Benue state, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Gabriel T. Suswam on Thursday October 23, 2008.

Bam Microfinance Bank which was licensed to carry on business as a Unit Microfinance Bank was later upgraded to State Status having conveniently fulfilled requirements stipulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria with Head Office at Suite D77/76/67 Area 11 Shopping Mall Ahmadu Bello way Garki Abuja, FCT, Branches in Suite 1&2/9&10 POWA International Market Mararaba-Nyanya and Gwarimpa Ultra-Modern Plaza Kado-Life camp.

Following the revised microfinance policy framework issued by the CBN, which introduced new share capital requirements, Bam MFB adjusted its operations by reverting from State Microfinance Bank status to Tier 2 Unit Microfinance Bank.

The Bank continues to serve its customers from its operating office at Suite 1&2/9&10, POWA International Market, Mararaba-Nyanya, FCT, Nigeria.
